I was catching the bus home yesterday and making my "to do list" on my laptop for the next work day and the person sitting next to me said "I couldn't help but notice but do you offer any HSC coaching courses?". I got talking to the young person who said that he was looking for a HSC tutor, not because he felt he specifically needed a tutor but because he was competing with students who were clearly receiving tuition. He felt that these students had a distinct advantage over him because they were being coached on how to specifically how to write essays that addressed marker requirements. 

I am aware that schools really only have time to teach the content however HSC tuition is about learning the specific skills of writing and performing in the exam room. These are crucial skills in what we might call the "exam season" which are the HSC Trial Exams in August and the Final HSC exams in October.

I guess the message I want to get across is that while HSC tuition (of any kind) is not the only way to HSC success it does help and learning the appropriate skills for HSC success will continue to generate positive returns at University and beyond. The skills of writing are life skills and for anyone who will work in the world of information(just about everyone in the 21st Century)these skills are vital.

HSC Tuition or HSC coaching, whichever term you might use, is firmly based on gaining great results that allow students to move to the next exciting phase of their lives.
