The first FergHSC Extension English Workshop for the HSC of 2012

Date: Friday 11th of November 2011

Time: 4pm to 7pm

What will be covered in this 3 hour intensive workshop with Fergus?

  • What are the Board of Studies expectations for this course?
  • Conceptual analysis of the course
  • Genre study
  • Ways of thinking
  • Outlining the structure and the length of the text based question
  • The analysis of a related text
  • The writing up of a related text to be submitted through the website for feedback

Electives suitable for this workshop are:

  • Crime Fiction
  • Navigating the Global
  • Science Fiction
  • Romanticism
  • Textual Dynamics

The cost of this 3 hour workshop is $176.00 and is limited to only 6 students. The tuition cost includes the marking of up to two Extension English pieces of work in Term 4 (these essay markings must be used prior to December 9th, 2011) or will be forfeited.
