Four Corners "Revolution in the Classroom"

7 February, 2012

At last a major television programme looks at what students really need to succeed at school. Well done Knox Grammar and Toronto High School for putting students first and realising that teaching is a professional calling that requires dedication and empathy.

Positive classroom and school environments as well as strong mentoring allow students to believe in themselves and take responsibility for their own outcomes.

These are the same values that guide our teaching practice at FergHSC

  • Prioritizing mentoring
  • Being aware of the needs of the student as an individual
  • Providing systems that create the stepping stones to success not only in high school but also University
  • Highly professional and passionate teachers that see education as the central means of securing a great future for students

Every student is capable of a great HSC result and with the right opportunities, support and learning environment anything is possible.
